community has, over the past couple of years, become increasingly important to me. i was a very lonely child, and most of what i would call community now wasn't really formed until i had access to the internet.

as such, the presentation of this thesis is an ode to those experiences, to the curation of self and community.

where are we?

this format is also relevant to my understanding of the need for accessibility. as a first generation college graduate, it is incredibly important to me to use that position, as someone with access to higher education, to make the resources and knowlede i have had access to available to others.

'i felt alienated by the niggas who look just like me/niggas treat my nuance like it, like it was a nuisance' - tyler, the creator

the one constant that has remained of this thesis is that i want it to live here, online, where people can interact with it freely, for as long as it can.
